I am funny, in the wall.

Don’t take this personally, but I don’t like you and need you to go away

So. My computer was dying and I had money from the sale of the Vespa, so I got together with the Hotness and tried to figure out what exactly I needed from a computer.
And after a lot of waffling(me) and some firmness (Hotness), I took the plunge and got…an iPad.
And then had a spenditure induced anxiety attack.
And, frankly, I am still having a bit of sticker shock. I needed the voice to text function, I didn’t really need much hard drive and there really wasn’t a lot of price difference between the PCs and the iPad I ended up getting.
Of course, I am completely flummoxed by the way it’s set up, but I have been playing with it for a couple of days and I like it so far.
Anyway, I just this morning figured out how to blog from it, so if you’ve missed the blogging, well, that’s kind of sad, but also there will be more. And I think I might try video blogging, but maybe not until I can get my hair done so that I stop looking so much like a Muppet.

I’m with Kristin. I like Muppets, too. Especially muppets with iPads.

Which Muppet would you be? One of the critics or Animal? ;-)

Fathead and I have claimed the critics. How about Beaker?

After further review, Fathead and I will be Bert and Ernie.

Here’s the deal… I got an iPad because I had to have one in order to do interface design for my clients who are writing apps for it. After I finished up, I gave it to my mother, because I had a MacBook and an iPhone, and didn’t want to mess with it.

Then I actually sat down and stated USING one my friend had bought. I fell so in love with it that I went back to my mother to get it back (figuring she would have put it in the closet after getting frustrated… just like the computer I bought her). But nooooooo… she loved it and used it constantly and didn’t want to give it back.

So I had to go buy another one for myself.

I love it more than anybody SHOULD love an electronic device. I use it all the time and vastly prefer it for email and browsing to any computer. And every day I’m finding more and more stuff I can do with it. And want to use a computer less and less. It’s an amazing device. It’s magic.
