I offered to cook a meal over Thanksgiving, so I went over my list of recipes. I then realized the only things I can really make are chili, spaghetti, and something called Spanish casserole which prompts people to ask me why it’s called that. Mostly I’m good at ordering food for delivery. When I move to Seattle, I will pay you to feed me.
This is me to a tee, especially the reverse recipie. Excet also we don’t eat meat, and very little dairy, or salt (well, she doesn’t, but i love sea salt). So often i take a recipie and modify it to where we can eat it. Yesterday I splurged and bout fresh figs, which I sliced in half, stuck my finger in, and drizzled with wildflower honey blended with black walnuts (the only kind I like), layered them like a casserole, and baked. Yes, you are right, there are none left. I had them for a midnite snack AND breakfast

I am fearless in the kitchen and NOT a good cook. It’s a dangerous combination.
